This page explains what data we collect when you visit the site, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask us. It is written to be understood: if anything is unclear, write to us.

What data we collect, and why
1. Browsing data
Like every website, the server hosting these pages logs the requests it receives: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type. This is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse. The site is hosted by Netlify.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in providing and protecting the service.
2. Visit statistics — only if you consent
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read, for how long, and where visitors come from. We use it to improve the site, not to profile you or show you advertising.
Statistics start only after your consent. Until you accept, no cookie is set — you will find this checked in the Cookie Policy.
Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Bookings
The “Book” button takes you to an external system, secure-reservation.cloud, run by our booking engine provider. The data you enter there (name, contact details, dates, any payment details) are collected on that system and governed by its privacy policy, as well as by this one for the part that concerns us as an accommodation provider.
Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations (reporting guests to the police, tax requirements).
4. If you write to us
If you email or phone us, we keep what you write for as long as needed to reply and to manage any stay.

We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for advertising purposes.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these providers are US companies or have servers outside the EU. Transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decisions or of standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Server logs: the technically necessary time, usually a few days.
- Statistics: up to 14 months, in aggregate form.
- Booking and invoicing data: for the period required by law (10 years for tax documents).
- Email: as long as needed to handle the request.
What you can ask us
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to obtain a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting what was done before. Write to info@alpradelafam.com.
If you believe your data is being processed improperly you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
