Cookie policy

Updated 22 October 2026

Cookies are small files that a website saves on your device. Here you will find exactly the ones we use — checked by opening the site in a browser, before and after consent — and how to change your mind.

Before you choose: no cookies

Until you press “Accept”, the site does not set any cookies and saves nothing on your device. If you choose “Necessary only”, the only thing we remember is your choice.

The cookies we use

NameSet byPurposeDuration
_gaGoogle Analyticstells one visitor from another, anonymously400 days
_ga_M29PYB9NDXGoogle Analyticskeeps the session state400 days

They are set only after consent and serve only to produce aggregate statistics. We do not use them for advertising or profiling.

Not cookies, but worth saying

In the browser's local storage we save a single technical item: pdlf_consent, the choice you made on this banner. It stays on your device, is sent to no one and saves us asking you the same thing on every visit. The weather forecast stays for at most half an hour in the tab's memory (sessionStorage), so they are not requested again on every page, and disappear when you close it.

Two things worth knowing

Google is contacted even before consent. With consent refused, Google Analytics still sends a technical signal without cookies and without identifying you. No data is saved on your device, but your IP address still reaches Google's servers.

The typefaces are served by our own website. Until 21 October 2026 they came from Google's servers, which could therefore also see your IP address. Now they are on our own server: nobody else is contacted to display them.

How to change your mind

Blocking these cookies does not stop you using the site: no feature depends on them.
